On Friday, December 5, soul-stirring, show-stopping choreographer/dancer Camille A. Brown addresses the politics of pleasure and contemporary notions of beauty for black women in her newest work Black Girl, seen here prior to its New York premiere. Sharing the bill is Mr. TOL E. RAncE melding comedy, animation and historical dance styles with live music to look at what black performers have had to tolerate from the past to the present.
