Slow Food Sacramento Announces a Celebration of Summer Event. Celebrate the bounties of summer at the Grange with locally grown produce from Suzanne Peabody Ashworths farm, Del Rio Botanicals. Chef Michael Touhy will craft the menu with an heirloom tomato tasting featuring Del Rio Farm tomatoes accompanied by local artisan extra virgin olive oils and premium select sea salts followed by a three-course summer-centric lunch. Seed to Seed author, farmer and agricultural trailblazer Suzanne Ashworth has grown seed crops of every vegetable and will discuss the techniques she recommends for the home garden. Participants will receive heirloom seeds from Suzannes collection.
