Performance Poetry with Tony Mitton
Jump up and start wriggling with the brilliantly talented Tony Mitton as he shares his poems and picture books for all ages. In this highly entertaining performance Tony will have the whole family joining in as he delivers a collection of imaginative, hilarious and fun poems and rhymes.
Tony Mitton is a highly acclaimed poet and storyteller with an extensive collection of titles for children. His main published work consists of solo collections of lyric and narrative poetry such as Plum, My Hat and all that, and Come Into This Poem and verse picture books illustrated by a range of illustrators, including Bumpus Rumpus Dinsosaurumpus and Down by the Cool of the Pool. He has also always written poetry for adults and is currently preparing a selection of such poems for publication.
