How to Say "Hineni!" and Really Mean It with Yiskah Rosenfield
How do we know when we are being called and how do we answer? Hineni (Here I am) is the response our Biblical ancestors give when called. On the High Holy Days, we too are asked to proclaim our presence. How do we say Hineni with all of our doubts and imperfections? How do we make ourselves present and vulnerable to those we have wronged, and who have wronged us? Drawing on Biblical and mystical sources, we will explore Hineni as a powerful spiritual practice.
