The Kabbalistic Moon Cycles of the High Holidays with Jueli Garfinkle
Prepare for the High Holidays by deepening connection to yourself and the Divine. The lunar month of Elul (September) increases love, deepens compassion, and provides greater personal access to the Divine than at any other time of year. This moon/month begins the transformative journey of preparing for and welcoming the Jewish new year of 5770.
Using the Kabbalistic moon cycles as a guide, you will:
* Deepen (or create) your relationship with the Divine
* Begin open-hearted accounting to prepare you for a meaningful High Holiday experience.
* Awaken and utilize true compassion for yourself and others
* Prepare for your personal meeting with God doing the groundwork during Elul that leads to purity and forgiveness
Each class includes meditation, teaching, chant, study and sharing. Accessible practices will be shared that will help you to open your heart, connect to the Divine, and keep you grounded throughout the High Holiday season.
