Thomas Frank: Conservatives' Messy Legacy

Conservatives no longer hold the reins of power in Washington, D.C., but best-selling author Thomas Frank (the landmark What's the Matter with Kansas?) sees their fingerprints all over the capitala messy legacy of blundering and corruption. In The Wrecking Crew: How Conservatives Rule, Frank asserts that a coalition dedicated to dismantling big government instead delivered a big sell-off, turning public policy into a private-sector bidding war.
