Sometimes you have to cross an ocean to get what you want.
A college kid spends a semester in London and discovers that the best teachers are found outside the classroom. He meets an elderly gay man and a young British model and experiences that whole loss-of-innocence thing.
"Losing It" will be preceded by memoir, jokes, and stream of consciousness that will help place the story of virginity loss in context. Because the child is father of the man and the past is prologue and all that.
Steve Budd recently relocated from Boston and hasn't looked back. He's an actor, improvisor, standup comic, and writer. He's studied Solo Performance with David Ford at The Marsh. Locally, he's performed as Joey Bishop in "The Tribute" at the Post Street Theatre, at Spud's and other comedy clubs, and with Lila Theatre at the Off-Market. You can see him as Tim Timko, game show host, in "Reckless" at the San Francisco Playhouse in Nov. and Dec.
