Night In Oaxaca
About Night in Oaxaca:
Night in Oaxaca celebrates Ventura County's
indigenous immigrant community. Hundreds
of supporters gather to enjoy a traditional
dinner of Oaxacan mole, music, art and
dancing.
Now in its fourth year, Night in Oaxaca
awards college scholarships and highlights
indigenous community successes. Proceeds
from the event benefit the programs of the
Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing
Project (MICOP). Join us this year to honor
leaders and traditions on the International
Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.
