Washington Irving published his ghost story about Sleepy Hollow in the 1820's. But the Headless Horseman had made countless appearances in folklore from around the world long before then. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow has been adapted into film, cartoon, and stage versions. Just recently, Ichabod Crane even got his own TV show on Fox. This story is a timeless and charming blend of the haunting and the romantic. This adaptation by BG native Harper Lee brings life to new residents of Sleepy Hollow and offers a refreshing take on Ichabod, his fate, and the Sleepy Hollow he called home.
