20-Something Book Club

20-Something! Looking for a place to talk about books with other people yoru age? Prairie Path Books has created a new book club specifically designed for your age group. Come and enjoy food and refreshments. The event is free, but please RSVP by sending an email to read@prairiepathbooks.com.

Our first selection: "The Art of Fielding," is about the Westish College Harpooners, a Division III baseball team from the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan. They have seen their fortune rise and fall over the years, but with the arrival of a nearly magical young shortstop named Henry Skrimshander, it looks like they might finally have a chance. Told from five different points of view, "The Art fo Fielding' is about losing what you love most and learning how to live without that one element that gave life meaning. Even readers with no knowledge of or interest in baseball will find themselves longing for the baseball season to start.
