The Nerd
Parlor Room Theater Company is proud to present The Nerd by Larry Shue, a fast-paced comedy so full of laughs that it will leave you gasping for breath.
What lengths would you go to repay a man who saved your life? This is the question at the heart of The Nerd, as our protagonist Willum unexpectedly meets his hero, a hapless nerd named Rick Steadman, face-to-face for the first time. Willum is initially eager to accommodate Rick in any way he can, but finds his life gradually ruined by his hero's lack of intelligence and tact, eventually pushing Willum and his friends to extreme measures to get rid of the nerd.
Showing Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2 pm. Running from July 17 to August 3 at Bishop McNamara High School Fine Arts Theater in Forestville, MD. All tickets are $10.
