Bartender Basics with Brooks Reitz
Elevate your cocktail skills to the next level in this hands-on workshop taught by Brooks Reitz of the Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. Brooks will give home bartenders the building blocks of mixing the perfect drink. Participants will learn techniques for creating a perfectly balanced cocktail, practice mixing (and sampling) simple cocktails using basic bar equipment, and will make their own syrup using produce and herbs.
A true Southern gentleman, Brooks Reitz co-founded the Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. in 2010 in Charleston, South Carolina and named the company after Jack Rudy, his great-grandfather. Brooks is an accomplished bartender with a decade of experience tending and managing bars at some of the South's most acclaimed restaurants. When he launched his artisanal "handmade tonic" its instant success helped to launch the company, which now distributes its South Carolina-made product all around the world.
There is a minimum number of participants required to run this workshop. Participants must purchase tickets ahead of time to ensure that the class runs.
