A Garden of Herbal Delights

Learn how to get maximum flavor out of your culinary herb garden with Master Gardener and herbalist Janet Barocco in this hands-on workshop. With her years of experience in the garden and the kitchen, Janet will show participants the best ways to plan and care for an herb garden and how to make delicious herbal vinegars and tisanes with the bounty. Participants will sample herbal tisanes and vinegars, and make their own batch of herbal vinegar to take home. You'll leave inspired by the garden of possibilities for your own backyard.

Janet is an accomplished home gardener who has been featured in the Press Democrat and other publications. She is also a home herbalist, a massage practitioner, and a visual artist. She received a certificate in Foundations of Herbalism from the California School of Herbal Studies in 1997, and an Associate of Science Degree in Horticulture from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1998. Janet completed the UC Master Gardener program in 2009.

There is a minimum number of attendees required to run this workshop. If you are interested in attending please purchase your tickets ahead of time in order to ensure that the workshop runs.
