Diamond Ruff Movie at the Harlem Book Fair
Young! Feature Films and Pullum Productions presents
Diamond Ruff Movie's NY Premiere at the HARLEM BOOK FAIR 2014!

Film Screening
followed by Q&A with Executive Producer Joe Young & Cast

About the Movie:
Diamond Ruff is about redemption, forgiveness, the power of the human spirit and second chances.  Orphaned at a young age, Diamond Ruff uses his intelligence and shrewdness to survive.  He becomes an accomplished con artist, crime boss and millionaire.  On the eve of the biggest job of Diamond's career, his weaknesses surface, setting in motion events that have deadly consequences.  Is prison the final fate of Diamond Ruff?  Does the Rev. Trek Woods hold the key to Diamond's redemption?  Diamond finds himself in a life-changing journey and there are no easy answers.  The movie stars Fredro Starr (Rapper from Onyx) as Diamond Ruff and Felicia "Snoop" Pearson (HBO's The Wire), Dennis White (Notorious) and award winning comedian Michael Colyar, and award winning singer, Freddie Jackson.

About Joe Young, Writer & Executive Producer:
Joe has over 20 years of experience in the business of art. In the late 80's, he was nationally syndicated with his Scruples comic property.  The Scruples Holiday Special airs annually on local and national television.  Since then, he started the Joe, Picture This Show, Inc., a 501(c)3 youth arts agency.  The agency is well known for creating The Hartford Animation Institute, a program that teaches young people the art and business of digital animation.  He has produced graphic and film work for celebrities, small and large organizations.  Joe and his work have appeared in People, Ebony, Jet Magazines, The New York Times, Boston Globe, C-Span and other national media outlets.  In 1999, Joe received the prestigious Point of Light Award from the White House for bringing the arts to disadvantaged youth.
