Young People's Theatre Program ~ Richmond Community Theatre, Rockingham NC
The 2014 Young People's Theatre program was made possible by a grant from the Rockingham Rotary Club.

The Rotary grant is allowing us to provide 30 hours of instruction with multiple arts teachers while keeping our tuition fee at a minimum.  It is providing the funds for materials so the youth will be able to keep the mask made in the camp.
In addition, youth will receive a program t-shirt and will have a pizza party on the last evening prior to the parade.  The grant is also allowing us to hold the performance free of charge for all community members.

Summary: This year, RCT's young people will perform in an original play about super silly super heros!

The young people in the program will make masks and help decorate capes.  They will help to create the set and props.  In addition, the young people will learn some songs and participate in a slow motion stage fight.

The program will culminate in a children's parade at 6:15 pm from Richmond Community Theatre on Harrington Square to the Cole Plaza outside of Rockingham City Hall on Rockingham road. The final performance will be held at the Cole Plaza.  It will be free and all community members are welcome to join.  The performance will be at 7 pm.

Tuition:Tuition for all young people in the program is $60.00 before July 12.

Registration:  Registration will be accepted June 20 through July 10.  Mail a completed registration form and tuition payment for each child you are registering to: Richmond Community Theatre, PO box 635, Rockingham NC, 28380  There will be two dates that you can register your child in person at the Rockingham farmer's market:  Saturday July 5 and July 12 between 10 am and 12 pm
