This One Time...
Seattle's only Comic Storytelling Showcase returns July 20th with The Old Me

A night of painfully true stories from some of Seattle's most talented stand up comedians, each performer will tell a short story of embarrassment and triumph around the theme of home.

Come hear the hilarious and dramatic tales of barbell eating pit bulls, amateur taxidermists, and the places that make us who we are.

With stories by:

Allison Lizotte: Your host for the evening, Allison brings a warmhearted personality and quick wit to the stage. She has met Bruce Campbell. Respect.

Emmett Montgomery: Storyteller, artist, and comedian, Emmett has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, San Francisco's Sketchfest, and hosts the incomparable Weird and Awesome. He came to Seattle from Utah, where his beard is still wanted for questioning.

Travis Vogt: a comedian, filmmaker and writer who has performed at Bumbershoot, Sasquatch and the Vancouver Comedy Festival, Travis' film work has been acknowledged by the Stranger Genius Awards and the Seattle International Film Festival. "Acknowledged" means he didn't win. He has been to 1/6 of the countries in Europe plus Canada.

Douglas Gale: A Seattle comedy fixture, Douglas brings a sharp delivery to the stage that has garnered him multiple wins at the Seattle Moth StorySlam with tales of ill-conceived magic spells and murder plans that fell through.

Paul Barach: Runner up in the 2014 Moth Grandslam, Paul Barach is a writer, storyteller, and comic who's brash delivery onstage lends itself well to his history of finding the humor in the typical results of his impulsive decisions. His accomplishments include: Falling into the La Brea Tarpits, being given a wooden sword by the mayor of Seoul, and only getting one DUI.
