FREE Trip on the Schooner Pioneer from Governors Island
Haul on lines to raise sail, see the sights of the Harbor, and ask the Pioneer Educator about the marine ecology and maritime history all around us! Launched in 1885, and still traditionally rigged and sailed, Pioneer remains a living connection to her 128-year heritage.*
*PLEASE NOTE: Tour 2 and Tour 3 are one-way tripsthe Schooner Pioneer will NOT transport you back to your point of origin.

City of Water Day boat tours are completely free of charge. This year, though, a fully refundable reservation fee of $5 will be charged per passenger. Within 15 business days the $5 reservation fee per ticket will be credited back to you if you take your tour. The fee will not be refunded for each person who does not attend.
