DIF- Passes
NOTE: Festival Pass sales end 8/3/14 at 12 pm. Weekend and Nightly Pass sales end 8/7/14 at 11:59 pm. We expect some of our weekend shows to sell out before Weekend and Nightly Pass sales end, so please remember you cannot reserve a seat at a sold out show with any kind of pass. We will do our best to update the drop-down selections as quickly as possible.
Detroit Improv Festival is dedicated to bringing you a week of top-notch performances to celebrate and promote the benefits of improv. Performances will be held in several local theaters in Detroit and Ferndale starting Sunday August 3rd and ends Saturday August 9th.
There are three types of passes available for sale:
-Nightly (available for Friday OR Saturday) gives you the opportunity to attend three shows. Choose one show from each 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The midnight show on Friday or Saturday is included.
-Weekend (Friday AND Saturday) gives you the opportunity to attend seven shows. Choose one show from each 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Saturday afternoon Family Friendly Show and the midnight shows on Friday and Saturday are included. You will also receive a coupon for one Festival T-Shirt.
-Festival (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) gives you the opportunity to attend fifteen shows: Choose one show from either the 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. show on Wednesday. Choose one show from each 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. block on Thursday. Choose one show from each 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. block on Friday and Saturday. The Best in Show Screening and Afterglow on Sunday, the Planet Ant Night on Monday, the Neutrino Project at the Boll Family YMCA on Tuesday, the Wheel of Improv Show on Wednesday, the Family Friendly Show on Saturday afternoon and the midnight shows on Friday and Saturday are included. You will also receive a coupon for one Festival T-Shirt.
You must choose which shows you will see during this transaction in the questionnaire. If for some reason you make a mistake, you must email Julie at julie@gocomedy.net on the same day as your purchase in order to make a change.
You will receive a confirmation of your choices by the next business day, in a separate email.
Purchasing a pass gives you the opportunity to choose from available shows. If a show has already sold out before your purchase, you will not be able to use your pass for this show. Buy early to the have the broadest selection.
On the night of each show a ticket will be waiting in your name at the respective box office. You must show your id and your pass at the box office in order to receive your ticket. Seating will be first come first serve, so arrive early to get the best spot.
In addition, on the nights that you have tickets you will also receive a pass lanyard. You can use this pass to enter any show that has seating availability in addition to the shows that you have already selected.
