Interfaith Community Breakfast
"When Worlds Entwine: East Meets West in the 21st Century" In an age of increasing global interconnectedness, accompanied by environmental, economic and political instability, what can Vedanta--an ancient Indian wisdom tradition--possibly contribute to creating world peace and promoting harmony among members of the Abrahamic faiths--Judaism, Christianity, and Islam? Is interfaith dialogue essential or irrelevant to creating peace? Sadhvi Chaitanya is a popular teacher of Vedanta and serves on the Counsel of Sages, an interfaith body of religious leaders and scholars based in Geneva.
