Burn
Burn, written by Deborah Gearing, follows Birdman, a 15 year old boy, for a day as he attempts to reach out to the girl he loves who has been through a horrific experiance. Written in a simple, poetic language, Burn explores how teenagers are able to experiance and participate in violence towards one another in multiple ways. Birdman attempts to force his peers to acknowledge this violence, and to ask why it happens.
