Beacon Hill Neighborhood Tour

Boston Foodie Tours ("BFT") features local history and award-winning best eats, including those of Best of Boston winners, James Beard Award winners, celebrity chefs, and food institutions. BFT earned the 2014 and 2013 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, and maintains a 5-star guest rating on Yelp!.

On this tour, we explore one of Boston's most historic neighborhoods, currently home to Secretary of State, John Kerry, and known for its Federal brick townhouses, gas-lit streets, and cobblestone roads.

Featured is one of Daily Meals' top 20, 2013 Italian restaurants, where we'll enjoy a 2-course, light lunch, including its award-winning pizza. The owner is a 65-year-old James Beard Award winner, who was voted one of the country's "coolest" chefs last year.

Next up a one of Boston's best neighborhood restaurants, where we'll sample a dish that's sure to please. We'll then visit a few historical sites before tackling the heart of Beacon Hill, Charles Street. Included will be Best of Boston breakfast institution to which celebrities gravitate; a Sofi awarding-winning roasted nuts shop; a three-time Best of Boston Chocolatier; and Julia Child's favorite neighborhood market.

And how could we send you home without dessert? Never! We'll end with a refreshing treat at a GQ pick for one of the top 10 "must-try ice cream shops" in the country.
