Sustainable September Green + Solar Home & Landscape Tour
This years self-guided tour features nine Spokane area homes with environmentally friendly designs and ideas. The homes, in addition to green-building techniques, feature other energy-saving ideas including solar panels, native plant landscaping, radiant-heat flooring, and home-siting for optimum solar efficiency, strawbale construction, as well as green remodeling techniques. There is a great mix of remodels and new construction. Half of the homes are owner occupied and the homeowners, architects, builders and contractors will be on site to answer questions. Questions?
