Mr. Benny - Benefit Performance

A one-man show about the life and times of Jack Benny. This play has been performed to great acclaim on the east coast and we are very happy to be bringing Mr. Benny home to Waukegan! Mr. Benny dramatizes Jack Benny's family life, his roots in show business, his days in vaudeville, then radio, some movies, and finally - the ultimate challenge - television. This is obviously a perfect show for Waukegan, Jack Benny's hometown.
The Saturday, January 31st performance of Mr. Benny will be a special event benefiting the theatre. Doors will open at 6:30PM, attendees will enjoy music, food, an open bar, silent auction, and much more!
Following all this will be an 8PM performance of Mr. Benny, followed by post-show meet & greet with actor Tim Newell.
Tickets for the benefit are $85, $75 for members of Waukegan Main Street and Waukegan Arts Council.
