McLaughlin wrote this retelling of the Oresteia in 1995 in response to the first Iraq War. It is the heart-wrenching story of a young soldier returning home to his family, a "world of women." At once modern and timeless, beautiful and peculiar, this play challenges us to confront the horrors of war and to embrace the healing powers of love.
