Home Brewing Workshop

Learn the theory and science behind brewing your own beer from the people from the Beverage People. They'll lead a workshop on how to make cream ale, provide sample tastes and give practical examples of how to make your first batch of homebrew a success.

The Beverage People are local experts in homebrewing, and offer all the tools and equipment needed to start your own mini brewery at their Santa Rosa store. At this workshop, the experts will set up a complete workspace in the SHED Grange and show participants every step of the process in making high-quality homebrew. Attendees will learn how to select hops, chill wort, create recipes, guide a ferment, and everything in between.

This class is suitable for beginners. If you are under 21 years old and would like to attend, please email grange@healdsburgshed.com. All workshop attendees will receive a 10% discount in SHED's retail store the day of the workshop, perfect for stocking up on brewing books and bar supplies.
