AVAM takes Manhattan!
On Sunday, July 12th, 2009, The American Visionary Art Museum is hosting a bus trip to New York City to see AVAM's permanent collection at Bergdorf Goodman and take in highlights of New York's visionary scene. We will leave AVAM at 7:30 AM and return at 10:30 PM on July 12th. Meals are included. Seating is limited, so first come first serve.
Highlights include:
-An opportunity to see the Bergdorf Goodman windows
-A rooftop Champagne Brunch at home of Board Member Lisa Revson
-A studio tour with artist Tom Duncan
-Behind the scenes tour at the Lower Eastside Girls Club
-Perspectives from outsider art collector Phil Hartman
