"Una Planta y Seis Cuerdas" Flamenco Dance Performances at Live Oak Theater
An intimate evening celebrating the joy of accomplishment in the art of flamenco in all its facets. Emmy Award-winning dancer/choreographer proudly presents her School of flamenco students from beginners to advanced in unique new choreographies with original music by maestro Jason McGuire "El Rubio" and his wonderful musicians. Each performance will be capped with a fiery performance by Yaelisa and her world-class musical ensemble.
Three performances in two intimate theatrical venues, the Live Oak Theater in Berkeley and SOMARTS Performance Space in San Francisco. These distinct evenings include artists
Jose Cortes, Gypsy Singer; Clara Rodriguez, singer; Marlon Aldana, drummer/percussionist; and Paul Martin Sounder, bassist. Featuring original music by master musician Jason McGuire set to Yaelisa's outstanding choreographies.
