TIM625 - 1: Ayurveda I - Session 1
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The complete introductory course on Ayurveda I (TIM625) consists of two Sessions, usually scheduled over two weekends. This is registration for Session 1, with a choice of venue in Richmond or Portsmouth, Virginia. (The schedules and locations for Session 2 will be announced at a later date.)
TIM625 requires no prior knowledge about the ancient system of holistic health known as Ayurveda, and is a prerequisite to continuation of Ayurveda classes towards the Ayurveda National certification program with Taksha, and for Dhanvantari Ayurveda.
Students may wish to also purchase the "Textbook of Ayurveda: Fundamental Principles, Vol. 1" by Dr. Vasant Lad in advance of the course. Cost for this textbook through registration or through Vijaya is $45, and it may be ordered here during registration online or by calling him at 757-254-3588. You may also wish to check online book retailers for available used copies to purchase.
Taksha University also offers a Certificate of Course Completion (CCC) for 12 hours of credit, signed by Vijaya, as TU/SIM/TAI Professor. CCCs must be ordered for an additional $45, during registration or by writing contact@taksha.org.
