The Big Easy
Leave it to our incredible little town to collectively find talented hidden gems to send my way.  Thanks to Shana Maziarz (of Three Forks Bakery and Brewery), we have found our next featured chef to share with y'all.  I am thrilled to host another southern themed food event.  There seems to be an endless desire for this kind of cookin'. This summertime song to the deep south is generations deep for our June chef.  

   Chef Eric Veldman Miller's passion for cooking led him to give up a successful career as a professional skier and become a professional Chef.  He began his education at the Napa Valley Cooking School and has built a solid foundation of experience at several restaurants including Catahoula, Town Hall and Restaurant Gary Danko.  After starting a family, he began teaching at Le Cordon Bleu.  Currently he is chasing another dream of opening a craft butcher shop in Sacramento.   I cannot wait for that!  Chef Eric finds himself pulled to the cuisine of Louisiana in his career consistently.  Searching for the truest representations of time tested classic dishes and infusing them with humble but elegant style is his passion.  

   Join us for a laid back, down home, breezy, delicious, rockin' chair on the front porch, rocks & mint in the glass kind of night.  You just can't go wrong with dem dawlins handing you catfish & ersters either.  A Taste of NOLA in NC.
