Iris & Stop Frontin'
The evening will begin with the theatrical drama, Iris. After, there will be an opportunity to sip some wine and listen to music by one of our featured artists. To round out the evening, Tim Intravia will present a one man comedy show!
Iris:
Iris Chang was a Chinese American historian and activist, who earned early fame for her bestselling account of a brutaland hiddenact of genocide. Iris examines the internal struggles and contradictions of this ambitious and seemingly unstoppable young writer, wife, and mother, as her life unravels and ends in a controversial and untimely death.
Tim Intravia (Stop Frontin'):
Take a journey into the lives of 6 different characters who all need to Stop Frontin'(g) and just be themselves. A comedic look at accepting who you are, what you are and that you indeed, are. Tim Intravia has performed Stop Frontin'(g) at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, the Network's one act fest and most recently at the Players Theatre Loft. Tim has appeared on Rescue Me, the Onion News Network, FUSE and in the online web series Echo's Wayward (companionpictures.com). He is a swing in the off broadway hit Tony N Tina's Wedding.
