Ben Steinbauer, Missy Dugan, Beverly Voss, and Chelsea Donahue will tell funny, true stories in the intimate setting of a private home.

THE GROWNUP LADY STORY COMPANY is Rebecca Beegle and Annie La Ganga, two extraordinary hostesses and accomplished performers who put on warm and entertaining storytelling events in private homes as well as traditional (and nontraditional) theatrical venues and who teach monthly storytelling workshops.
BEN STEINBAUERis a writer/director who made his feature directing debut with the award-winning comedy documentary, Winnebago Man, which was released theatrically in 2010. Michael Moore called it "One of the funniest documentaries ever made!" and Roger Ebert named it one of his favorite documentaries of 2010. Ben is co-owner of the Austin based production company The Bear.
In her former life, MISSY DUGAN was a college administrator. It did not suit her.Since moving to Austin, Missy has been a student of Library Studies, a book pimp, a peddler of all things pornographic, a poet, a pin-up, a burlesque dancer, a personal assistant, and, most of all, a Stay at Home(ish) Mom. She does not know what she wants to do when she grows up.
BEVERLY VOSS is a writer, InterPlay teacher, psychotherapist and gardner/artist/dancer. She has lived in Austin since 1973 with son Max, boyfriend Brady, dogs Hank and Sally--though not all at the same time
CHELSEA DONAHUE is a New England transplant thriving in her adopted home of Austin, Texas. Formerly of the Traveling Treasure Trunk children's theater troupe, she is thrilled to be performing again after a four year creative hiatus. In addition to storytelling, Chelsea is also enthusiastically attempting stand-up comedy. Her hobbies include drinking whiskey, recounting sexual exploits, and Zumba.
