Space.City Lecture: Xaveer De Geyter
Xaveer De Geyter Architecten began in the 1990s with the construction of two private villas in Belgium. In 2001, a second office opened in Ghent, in collaboration with Stephane Beel. Currently 20 architects from different countries work in the office. Important projects include: House Brasschaat, Belgium; Parc apartments, Breda, Netherlands; Urban plan Ilot Saint-Maurice, Lille, France; Europa Cross Point, Brussels, Belgium; University of Ghent, Belgium; Blue Moon, Groningen, Netherlands; Cheong Moon Gak Headquarters, Seoul, Korea; Elishout Campus, Coovi; Extension of the city in the sea, Monaco; and After-Sprawl, a study on Flanders. De Geyter teaches in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. His work is beautifully presented by El Croquis #126 XDGA 1992-2005Â. Visit www.xdga.be.
