Grand Prize Winner at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival, this epic day-trip-gone-wrong focuses on one simple fact: Getting to the beach shouldn't be this hard. A wickedly funny, satirical (but with love) take on twenty-something culture starts out like a modern day Ferris Bueller's Day Off two girls take the day off to go to the beach. But soon enough, we see the razor-sharp, turns the filmmakers make, leading us to evaluate and critique an entire generation. Simultaneously hilarious, cringe-inducing and fresh, the film serves as a warning shot. These girls are out there. And they have your bike. (USA, 2014) IN PERSON: co-director Sarah-Violet Bliss, star Clare McNulty
