Comedians Grandma Lee & Jono Zalay
She'll electrify the stage from the moment she burst from the starting gate until she cross the finish line in a blaze of glory. This sassy senior has mastered the art of entertaining audiences of all ages with unorthodox views of family, television, and life in general. She may shock you with her colorful use of the English language although few find it offensive. She won first place in the U.S. World Showcase comedy division at the MGM Grand Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas in October 2003. In January 2004 Grandma Lee auditioned and was selected as a finalist in NBC's "Last Comic Standing". Although not selected to advance, she was one of only three comics asked to perform in guest appearances during the show's season finale. She's no stranger to competition. She was a finalist for the Aspen Comedy Festival in both Charlotte and Atlanta. She's one of Jenny Jones' Comedy Divas and she attended Judy Carter's last workshop in Palm Springs, CA. Her fast-paced comedy will have you rolling in the isles, as you stroll down memory lane with the little old lady not from Pasadena. She's a real crowd pleaser! "NOT READY FOR THE ROCKING CHAIR!

In a time of ancient gods, warlords and kings a land in turmoil cried out for a hero. He was Jono Zalay, a mighty princess forged in the heat of battle. He began performing stand-up comedy in San Diego in 2004. Plagued by constant sunshine, he desperately applied to graduate programs on the east coast. Rejected from all but one school, he packed all his belongings and boarded a plane to Boston. His belongings boarded a plane to Philadelphia and were never seen again. Jono is currently earning his PhD at Boston University, where he spends his days giving cocaine to rats, and his nights with similar company at comedy clubs in New England and around the country. Influenced by the legendary performers before him, Jono is proud to continue the great stand-up comedy tradition of studying Neuroscience.
