Home Cooked Comedy comes to Baltimore!
SoCal comedians Lauren O'Brien, Jeff Bilodeau, Jesse Egan, and Dewey Bratcher return to their East Coast roots for The Home Cooked Comedy Tour.
From the very beginning Dewey Bratcher has been the class or neighborhood funnyman. Performing in plays in elementary and middle schools led him to audition and be accepted into the Baltimore School for the Arts where he studied theater. Fast forward to 2011 and the recently retired Chief from the US Navy decided it was time to give in to the call of the microphone. Dewey has performed at The World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, featured for the likes of Alonzo Bodden, Freddy Lockhart, Jacob Sirof and Patrick Deguire and was winner of Ocean Beach's Funniest Person contest. He uses a smooth, effortless delivery to convey takes on marriage, race, and relationships that are hilarious and fresh.
Lauren O'Brien is an LA-based stand-up comic and writer originally from South Jersey. She is the former cohost of the top-rated morning radio program, The Mikey Show, in San Diego. She has opened for many nationally touring comics such as Jim Norton, Joey "Coco" Diaz, Mitch Fatel, Doug Stanhope, Fortune Feimster and more. She has appeared on Spike and TBS and you can also see her in national commercials for Verizon, Walgreens, ESPN and more. Her writing has been featured in various publications such as The Huffington Post, The Comic Bible, Elle.com, Backstage.com and more. In February of 2013 Lauren won the Skyy Vodka's "Ocean Beach's Funniest Person Contest". There are two things Lauren loves to brag about - 1. Having her video played on The Howard Stern show and 2. Making Ellen DeGeneres chuckle when she read one of Lauren's tweets aloud on her show.
Originally from the mean streets of Biddeford, Maine, Jeff Bilodeau is a professional stand-up comedian based out of San Diego. He has performed for over 5 years at all the major clubs in town and is a 3 time finalists in the San Diego's funniest person contest. He was a recent participant in the inaugural San Diego Comedy Festival and hosts the Comics Talk Comedy podcast, winner of 2013 San Diego Comedy Awards for best comedy podcast.
Jesse Egan started doing stand-up comedy after a summer road trip took him from his hometown of Arlington, Virginia to the west coast. He was named part of the Best of San Diego at The Comedy Store in La Jolla California and in 2014 Jesse won first place in San Diego's Funniest Person contest. He has opened for Dane Cook, Doug Stanhope, Chris D'Elia, and many more and has appeared on Union Tribune TV, Fox Rox TV, The Binge radio show on 103.7 FM, and in the stand-up comedy documentary film Stage Time. Jesse's comedic influences range from Dean Martin to Dave Chappelle and his stand-up reflects his personality as an easy going dude that doesn't take himself too seriously.
