AIAOC ARTWALK (Entries)
AIA Orange County invites AIA members, Affiliate members, the Design and Construction Community, and Students to participate in the 5TH Annual Art Walk, a juried event, hosted by PIRCH between 6pm & 9pm on August 8th, 2014.
AIAOC ARTWALK is an evening of community outreach, camaraderie and artistic expression. AIA members and friends are invited to showcase their artistic talents and compete for prizes.
Instructions to Artist: Submission size (2D): 36 x 48 maximum size Sculpture size (3D): 36 x 36 x 36 maximum size. Larger pieces may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Artist may be required to provide easels for larger framed art. Artist may be required to set up larger pieces of art themselves at specific times required for judging and final display.
Framing: All photography and paintings should be framed, and artist should provide a method of hanging, or a point of attachment. For artwork that weighs 20 lbs or more, please provide an easel, if possible. Sculpture should have felt contacts on the bottom of the piece to prevent scratching tabletops.
Artwork Pick-Up will be after the event (approximately 9pm.) We ask that you pick-up your submission at that time. We will make an announcement during the event with instructions for pick-up of your submission(s).
JPGS of art must be submitted by July 29, 2014. All art must be dropped off on Sunday August 3 between 11am-2pm or Monday August 4th 2014 between 3pm-5pm. Additional instructions are explained during this registration process.
YOU MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR EACH PIECE OF ART YOU WANT TO ENTER SEPARATELY.
