TIME OUT DAYTIME SHOW: What to Escape When You're Expecting
Host Jacki Kane heard from many moms with nursing babies or young toddlers, that it was very difficult to leave their little ones behind for an evening to get out to her night-time shows. So she is now doing a day-time show as well. Kane opens the show with stand-up, then brings moms to the stage to tell their stories, do stand-up or a reading. Kane is always looking for moms to take the stage. There are no auditions. Moms email Kane at kane.jacki@gmail.com to schedule a slot on stage.
Airplay Cafe is a family-friendly cafe and venue. There is a play area and toys available, but children are welcome throughout the space. A full menu is available during the show so moms can munch on crepes or sandwiches, get grab-bags of cheerios or fruit cups for the wee ones, and have a great time.
