Soundscapes Featuring Special Guest Julianna Barwick
Soundscapes, Brooklyn Youth Chorus' annual concert dedicated to contemporary works, showcases the best new music written for this versatile ensemble and features popular fellow Brooklynite Julianna Barwick, who, like the Chorus, is widely acclaimed for exploring fresh new directions in singing. Julianna joins the Chorus in performing selections from her recent album Nepenthe. Soundscapes will also includes works by Bryce Dessner, from the recent album Aheym, Nico Muhly, Missy Mazzoli and Pulitzer Prize-winner Caroline Shaw.
