The Nursing Consortium of South Florida in cooperation with the South Florida Organization of Nurse Executives is pleased to present the Florida Nursing Advocacy Conference featuring some of Florida's leading nursing advocates including Barbara Lumpkin, Martha DeCastro, and Mary Lou Brunell, leading lobbyist Bob Levy, and numerous elected officials.

Making the Case at the Capitol

Martha DeCastro VP of Nursing at the Florida Hospital Association, will join a panel of elected officials and share their thoughts regarding the nursing shortage and offer guidance on how to most effectively engage elected representatives before, during, and after each legislative session. The discussion will be moderated by Barbara Lumpkin former Associate Executive Director of the Florida Nurses Association. State Representatives Estevan Bobo, Anitere Flores, Luis Garcia, and Yolly Roberson have accepted invitations to participate.
