Mona Lisa Speaks
Theatre 167 Block Party new works series presents: Mona Lisa Speaks by/with Jenny Lyn Bader directed by Julie Kramer
a workshop presentation of a new solo play
1911. The Mona Lisa is stolen from the Louvre. Police question everyone from Pablo Picasso to J.P. Morgan, but can't find her. Lisa realizes she has to plot her own escape. Along the way, she settles the enduring mystery of who she is and why she's smiling. A play about art, inspiration, and becoming who we are. Inspired by real events.
