This NW Pride comedy showcase's 5th anniversary! For this show we have the pleasure of bringing you Jason Stewart, a 20 year comedy veteran with appearances on LOGO,NBC, Comedy Central and so much more! This is going to be a night you won't forget!
JASON STUART has spent the last 20 years performing all over the world from comedy clubs, colleges to LGBTQ events. He is on the frontlines of the gay community fighting for equality with laughter. He can host, perform his own lecture on being out in the workplace or stand up comedy. Also, mainstream audiences dig this comic at all kinds of venues, straight or LGBT.
Jason is also a prolific character actor with over 175 film & TV shows to his resume, like The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, Entourage, The Closer", Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Charmed, "Everybody Hates Chris, House, Will & Grace, George Lopez, Comics Unleashed and One Night Stand Up, Wisecrack on LOGO. Jason's first Stand-Up Special, Jason Stuart: Making it to the Middle and CD Jason Stuart: Gay Comedy Without A Dress were all a big sellers!
Jason just completed in LOVE IS STRANGE opposite John Lithgow, Alfred Molina & Marisa Tomei and theJames Franco's film HOLY LAND, and has filmed several other movies, including the award winning POSEYstarring Sally Kirkland and BIG GAY LOVE & BEARCITY 2. He's currently shooting cop drama, DIRTY starringAlexandra Paul, Roger Guenivuer Smith and Tony Denison and just completed Sean Baker's TANGERINE.
Belinda Carroll is writing this from her farm where she lives with a plucky 7 year old, and her girlfriend who is a hoarder of flightless birds. Sometimes she feels that the chickens are watching. Belinda has appeared on fun stuff like Portlandia where she had the pleasure of working with k.d.lang and Jason Sudeikis, the Oregon Lottery, MTV, XM Sirius and Grimm a couple of times.
She also performs stand-up comedy a whole bunch and has performed with people like ANT, Dwight Slade, Laurie Kilmartin and Nato Green. She also gets to travel, which is good because she gets to stay in hotels and there is something very gratifying about stealing little soaps.
