2014 Seattle AWIS Awards and Scholarship Fundraiser

We will be honoring Anna Wald MD, MPH and Nancy Hutchison PhD with the Award for Scientific Advancement and Award for Excellence in Science Education/Outreach respectively.
Dr. Wald is a Professor in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, University of Washington and Dr. Nancy Hutchison is the director of Science Education Partnership at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. We will also be presenting the chapter's 2014 undergraduate scholarship recipients.

We are also accepting donations for our Undergraduate Scholarship. For every $ 5 dollars donation you will be entered into a drawing for the following prizes:

1) A coupon for a tour and tasting for up to 8 adults to Maryhill Winery at Goldendale WA. Gift certificate includes one stemless crystal glass for each guest and an additional discount of 5 % off 6 bottles or 10 % off 12 bottles of wine from their regular tasting room prices.Valued at $ 412.

2) Gift certificate for Facial for 2 at Skoah valued at $ 320.

Photographs will be taken at this event for use on our Seattle AWIS website and in other Seattle AWIS publications and media material. By attending our event, you are consenting to Seattle AWIS photographing and using your image and likeness.
