Cafe Nordo Presents: A Reading of Don Nordo
Inspired by Cervantes Don Quixote Café Nordo's latest foray into food and theater features the adventures of Chef Nordo and his stalwart sous chef Sancho Panza as they combat the theology of blandness that permeates the cuisine of our culture. Written by Terry Podgorski and directed by Erin Brindley, this reading will feature Nordo regulars Carter Rodriquez as Don Nordo, Maximillian Davis as Sancho Panza, Keira McDonald as Nancy (our Dulcinea,) Opal Peachey, Evan Mosher, and the incomparable Annastasia Workman improvising a score. John Boylan will follow up the reading by hosting a panel discussion with speakers from F.E.E.S.T as well as local chefs discussing the current food culture, food justice, and where food may be going. This event is presented by Café Nordo and Office of Arts & Culture.
Drinks will be available at the Theater Off Jackson. No food is provided. Eat before hand please.
