Bug Out! A Day of Insect Appreciation
Spend an evening at Rushton Farm and our friends from the Riverbend Environmental Education Center (Gladwyne, PA), to celebrate insect identification, education and appreciation. The value of insects within the farm ecosystem will be discussed with an emphasis on the pollinators that are critical to crop production. This program will be a big hit with children of all ages as you come face to face with some amazing insects, including a queen bee in an observation hive.
Admission is $10 per family or $5 per person.
