Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show
The great outdoors comes indoors at the 2026 Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show. This popular event returns to Pascos HAPO Center on January 23, 24, and 25 and is the first sportsmen show of the season in the Pacific Northwest. The warm confines of the HAPO Center is the perfect place for the entire family to take in all the exhibits, activities, presentations, and demonstrations. This is the 32nd year of this annual event and new show owners, Josh and Jenn McClanathan plan to continue the tradition of a quality show and fill the entire HAPO Center with exhibits and displays. Its the perfect place to spend the day with the entire family. This years event will feature Brads World Reptiles from Corvallis, Oregon; a 4D Archery Shoot using an interactive simulator; the Ascending Adventures 24 high climbing wall and mechanical bucking bull; the always awesome NW Big Game Display; the very popular kids fishing pond, Lunker Lake; plus a wide variety of exhibits, displays, boats, campers, and ATVs filling the entire HAPO Center. Brads World Reptiles is an interactive, educational exhibit that offers a hands-on experience, appreciated by people of all ages. It will feature some of the worlds most beautiful, intriguing and rarely seen reptiles. This incredible display will include American alligator, tortoises, water turtles, tarantulas, and a large variety of snakes. The Seminar Room is a very popular place and will be busy all three days of the show with experts sharing their knowledge during hourly presentations. This years speakers include Rob Phillips, who will cover fishing Lake Roosevelt for its large rainbows and trophy kokanee; Bryan Chapman presenting strategies for fishing and catching more bass; Jerry Reyes and the Flat Out Fishing Team covering mid-Columbia steelhead, mid-Columbia sockeye and summer Chinook, and tips that catch fall Chinook; walleye expert Jamie Rodriguez of JRod Fishing presenting several seminars on how to improve your walleye fishing success; and Jacob Munden offering tips for oversized sturgeon and getting started sturgeon fishing. For the hunters in the crowd, State President and Chapter President of the NWTF, Richard Mann will cover spring and fall turkey hunting techniques. Have you ever wondered how to tie a fly? Then the Fly-Tying Theater, manned by the Columbia Basin Fly Casters, will be the place to learn more. The theater will be set up at the east end of the Expo Hall and demonstrations will be conducted on Friday and Saturday only. The 2026 Tour of NW Big Game Animals, sponsored by Legends Casino and Hotel in Toppenish, returns to the HAPO Center with an impressive display of big game trophies taken from Washington and Oregon. David Morris puts together an awesome collection of big game trophies that will include many of the top trophies from each state. Also, if you wonder what one of your animals would score, bring it to the show and have it measured to see how it ranks against the other entries in the record books. These books are filled with entries and stories, and can be purchased at the show in the NW Big Game display in the Columbia River Room. The Arena will be a hub of activity with not only the reptile display, but it will also have trucks, campers, and boats filling up the west end. The 24 Ascending Adventures climbing wall will be set up for those wanting to test their climbing skills. And a mechanical bull will be available to ride each day of the show. The Colyak Bowhunters will once again host the popular kids Balloon Shoot and the free Crosman Air Rifle Range, teaching young shooters how to correctly handle a rifle while shooting at paper targets. The kids fishing pond, better known as Lunker Lake, will be full of hungry trout and will again be manned by Richland Rod & Gun Club. And remember, fishing is free for all kids on Sunday only, compliments of Griggs ACE Hardware. New to the Arenas list of things to do is the BowSim 4D Archery Shoot. This interactive simulator uses a projector and special screen to display moving 2D animals or targets that the archer shoots at with their own bow or a borrowed one from the shoot. Practice with field tip arrows on moving targets from any distance and multiple angles with difficult shots that would be hard to make otherwise. Returning to the 2026 Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show is the Sportsmens Show Marketplace that will take place in the Columbia River Room. This buy, sell, or trade area will allow patrons to bring to the show their gently used or new hunting, fishing, or other outdoor items to sell or trade during show hours. Sunday is still Kids Day! Every kid 6-12 will be admitted to the show at a reduced admission and fishing will be free all day on Sunday at Lunker Lake, compliments of Griggs ACE Hardware. Other kid activities include the Valley Marine Kids Korner, and the Kids Journal handed out by the Safari Club International either at their booth or picked up at the Main Entrance. The 2026 Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show will offer something for everyone to see and do. Attendees will have a chance to save money on general admission and can also sign up for one of the many hourly door prizes given away all three days of the show. This years show should have something for everyone and will be a great place to spend part of the weekend. So, no matter what the weather is doing outside, it will be nice and warm inside the HAPO Center at the 2026 Tri-Cities Sportsmen Show.
