Admission includes dinner. The price is $25 for professionals, $15 for educators & job seekers, and $5 for students.

Nisqually Chapter Holiday Party

Hello, AEG Nisqually! We hope that you will come and wrap up the year and celebrate the Holidays with us on December 17. Our December meeting is an opportunity to share in seasonal cheer with the local geo-community. Heres what we have planned:

Geologic Trivia: Test your quick recall of geologic knowledge in a lively trivia session.
**If you'd like to contribute, please send your trivia questions to AEGNisqually@gmail.com, and feel free to include an image or video.

Mini Presentations by Nisqually Chapter Members: Keeping with tradition, we'll have a handful of short presentations (~5 minutes each) from our chapter members. These mini presentations can be about anything! We encourage mini presentations on your research, projects, personal weekend activities or vacations, so long as it pertains to the year 2025!
**If you'd like to participate, let us know at AEGNisqually@gmail.com, and bring a thumb drive with a few photos or a brief PowerPoint presentation to the meeting.

White Elephant Gift Exchange: Our traditional white elephant gift exchange continues this year, and we hope it's even more revelrous and riotous. To this end, we are increasing the number of allowed steals. This is a fun one. We highly encourage everyones participation.
**If you'd like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift valued between $20 and $30 dollars.

Cookie Exchange: We invite everyone to participate in a cookie exchange. We will be providing paper plates and tin foil for your to-go packages. While we will have dessert available at this meeting, cookie sampling is also encouraged.
**If you would like to participate, please bring about 1-2 dozen holiday cookies on a plate or tray. We will have paper plates and tin foil available.

Holiday-themed sweaters are encouraged!
