Dickens masterpiece is brought to the stage as a 1950s radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.
Following thirteen years of radio plays on stage including Its a Wonderful Life (A perfectly formed triumph Tempohouse; A terrific indulgence Love Books Group), Para Handy, Dracula and Frankenstein No Nonsense Productions return with A Christmas Carol; A Radio Play on Stage.
Four actors play 1950s radio actors who in turn portray all the characters of A Christmas Carol.
Featuring live sound effects and an original score this is a rare opportunity to see how a 1950s radio broadcast was produced.
