Sonoma County Matsuri is pleased to present a special evening performance by the Theatre of Yugen, a highly acclaimed traditional Noh and Kyogen performance group
from San Francisco. Kyogen - It's Noh Joke, Three Traditional Japanese Comedies in English features three segments "Kaki Yamabushi (Persimmon Mountain Priest)", "Busu (Sweet Poison)", and "Kaminari (Thundergod)". One special evening at the Church of One Tree in Santa Rosa.
Theatre of Yugen is celebrating it's 35th anniversary with this special north bay performance. Whether you are a fan of Noh and Kyogen or it's your first time experiencing this traditional Japanese theater, we invite you to join us for a very special evening of laughter and merriment.
