Deborah Rosen and Dancers premieres: Atzmi (Self)
Deborah Rosen and Dancers are thrilled to announce three special performances featuring the premiere of our exciting new work, Atzmi (self), and the re-staging of our acclaimed piece, FRAG .... mented.

These performances are made possible in part by the generous support from the City of Pasadena, through it's Arts and Culture Commission.

We are honored to bring this weekend of movement, memory, and new vision to our community.

Friday and Saturday 8 pm, Sunday matinee 3 pm
December 12 - 14

ARC / A Room To Create 1158 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91106

ZEHUT, a contemporary dance work, featuring four L.A. based dancers, reflects and tackles the complexity and intersectionality of identity and the varied ways we navigate the challenges of living as our authentic selves.  With an original sound score by Croatian composer, Ranko Sajfar.

FRAG .... mented, orignally premiered in November of 2023, received great reviews from Brian Frette of L.A. Dance Chronicle, stating:  "FRAG m e n t e d encapsulates the broken aspect of human relationships dealing with the individuals needs and their survival instinct to belong. The juxtaposition between the bodies in the group versus the individual was very much on view with communal acceptance or ostracism close behind. This was Rosen exploring the condition of the individual within themselves and also in the company of a group.:
