Talk Title:
The Rattlesnake Ridge Landslide, Union Gap, WA - Background and Updates

Bio:
Gabe Taylor is an Assistant State Engineering Geologist with WSDOTs State Geotechnical Office and currently serves on the Federal Advisory Committee for Landslides. Gabe has been an active participant in AEG. He has presented at several AEG National Conferences and served as AEG Nisquallys Secretary, Vice-Chair, and was Chair from September 2020 to August 2021. His work includes geotechnical design for the earthwork portions of statewide transportation-related infrastructure projects, emergency response and mitigation of natural hazards such as landslides and rockfall, and preliminary site characterization and geotechnical recommendations for Fish Passage projects. Recently Gabe has been researching hydraulic scour, the use of InSAR to delineate landslides, and is working on development of a broad-scale landslide monitoring program.
